WHERE IS MAKE AND MUNCH LLC BASED?
Make and Munch LLC is location in Fairfax, Virginia and service the DMV Metro Area. Events outside this area may include a small travel fee.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BOOK A CART?
To book a cart, simply reach out with your event date, location, estimated guest count, and the experience you’re interested in. From there, we’ll align on availability, customize your package, send over a contract, and secure your date with a retainer. Once that’s locked, we handle the logistics so you can focus on the fun.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes — we are fully insured and carry a $4 million insurance policy.
DO YOU HAVE A FOOD PERMIT?
We operate with the required food permits and follow all local health and safety regulations. Compliance is non-negotiable for us, so you can book with confidence knowing everything is handled properly and professionally.
CAN I MIX AND MATCH OPTIONS?
We highly encourage mixing and matching our carts or even going all in with two Makes, two Munches, or six Makes only. The choices are entirely yours, and we’re built to customize the experience to fit your vision.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES AFTER I PAY MY DEPOSIT?
Changes are absolutely possible after your deposit is paid. We allow adjustments within our planning window based on availability and logistics.
CAN YOU WORK OUTDOORS
We can work outdoors! As long as the space is safe, level, and weather-appropriate, our carts and setups transition seamlessly to outdoor environments. We simply plan smart for power, shade, and guest flow to ensure the experience stays polished and uninterrupted.
DO YOU NEED POWER?
It depends on the experience. Some carts are fully self-contained and do not require power, while others may need access to a standard outlet. We confirm power needs in advance and design the setup accordingly, so there are no surprises on event day.
DO YOU NEED WATER ACCESS?
Most carts do not require water access, but certain Make or Munch setups may benefit from it. We confirm all utility needs in advance and design the setup so everything runs smoothly with or without on-site water.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS?
For outdoor events, we plan proactively. If bad weather is forecasted, we’ll coordinate with you in advance to activate a backup plan – such as moving indoors, adjusting timing, or modifying the setup. Our goal is to work collaboratively to ensure the experience remains seamless and safe.
CAN YOU BRAND YOUR CART TO MATCH MY EVENT?
We can brand our cart to align with your event. From signage and color palettes to menu cards and styling details, we customize the look so the experience integrates seamlessly with your theme, brand, or aesthetic.
